A Night With The Brook & The Bluff in Detroit

The Brook & The Bluff had fans howling at the moon on Wednesday night as they brought their Werewolf Tour to Saint Andrew’s Hall in Detroit. Following the release of their latest album Werewolf, the 5-piece band from Alabama was grooving from the first to last note.

Opening the night was indie-folk artist Ethan Tasch. His set was the perfect way to start a night full of good music and good vibes. His cover of “Drift Away” by Mike Berry had everyone in the crowd singing along.

If I had to describe The Brook & The Bluff’s show in one word, it would be “wholesome”. I’ve never seen so many people dancing in the back of the pit at once, having the time of their lives. Friends and couples twirling each other around and side stepping effortlessly in sync. The lanterns on stage gave the room a warm glow that accompanied the sound of the music perfectly. Playing songs like “Super Bowl Sunday” off their new record and “Everything Is Just a Mess” off of their 2019 album First Place, a song beloved by fans, the band knew just how to put on a great show.

If you haven’t listened to The Brook & The Bluff yet, you are surely missing out. If you are a fan of bands like Peach Pit and Flipturn, you would really enjoy them. Their Werewolf Tour is not over yet so grab your tickets while you can and don’t miss out on a night full of dancing and fantastic vibes!
