A New Harry Styles Era Is Here with New Single ‘Aperture’ and World Tour Announcement

Harry Styles just launched his HS4 era with announcement after announcement after announcement. In just over the span of a week, he announced his upcoming album, single, and world tour and to say fans are ecstatic would be an understatement. Let’s take a look at how Harry kicked off his new era.

Harry Styles is back and better than ever with his new single ‘Aperture’ off the forthcoming album KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY., set to release on March 6th 2026. Yesterday, Styles also announced a 2026 world tour entitled TOGETHER, TOGETHER which consists of multi-day runs in Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne, and Sydney, along with an impressive 30-show residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The tour runs from May 16th – December 13th 2026 and has a number of special guests set to appear: Robyn, Shania Twain, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé, Skye Newman, & Baby J.

The lead single ‘Aperture’ is out now. It is a techno pop track with electronic and distorted textures throughout, a heavy dance beat with crisp and clean vocals that float above the deep bass. The direction of this song is entirely different from anything we’ve seen from Harry before, yet it feels familiar with Harry’s layered vocals, reminiscent of his earlier discography.

we belong together / it finally appears / it’s only love

KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY. will be Styles’ fourth album, following Harry’s House released in 2022. Ever since finishing his multi-year run of Love on Tour gigs in 2023, Harry had quietly disappeared, leaving fans to speculate about HS4 and long for his return. But the new HS4 era didn’t just begin last week, we have to look back to the end of last year to get the full picture.

At the end of 2025, a video entitled ‘Forever, Forever’ was uploaded to Harry’s youtube channel featuring fans waiting in line together at the final show of Love on Tour in Italy. The video encapsulates the girlhood and community that is so prevalent in Harry’s fanbase – filled with dancing, singing, and laughter. The video cuts to Harry walking out on stage, sparkling and golden, taking a seat at the piano saying “I wrote this for you”, and begins playing a gorgeous piano piece, clearly resonating with the crowd as their eyes are filled with tears and emotion. The video feels like a goodbye, until a clip appears of the crowd being illuminated by red fireworks with the text “WE BELONG TOGETHER”, signifying a new start.

Then, earlier this month, posters with the “WE BELONG TOGETHER” image began showing up around the globe a couple of weeks ago, signaling to fans that HS4 was on its way. Some posters also had additional small text including: “let the light in”, hinting to other song lyrics on ‘Aperture’; “it’s all waiting there”, “here we go again” and “see you very soon”. The mystery of HS4 came to a close when Harry took to Instagram to announce KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY. by posting a photo of the album cover. He then announced the release of ‘Aperture’, followed by early in-store listening sessions for fans.

On Wednesday January 21st, select independent record stores in Amsterdam, Austin, Berlin, London, Mexico City, New York, Paris, São Paulo, Sydney, Toronto, and Tokyo held official in-store early listening sessions for the new track Aperture. Free of charge, fans were able to listen to the new song before anyone else. On the first listen, fans were loving the song saying it was very different from anything else they’ve heard from him but that “it suits him so much”. They described it as deep house and almost techno-ey, having a “Euphoria kind of vibe”. Overall, fans were itching to hear the song again and couldn’t wait for its release to blast it from their speakers and listen to it on repeat.

Yesterday, the announcements continued with the TOGETHER, TOGETHER tour. Harry posted a news-style announcement video featuring journalist Steve Kornacki. He describes TOGETHER, TOGETHER as a massive year-long event starting with 50 shows – possibly hinting that there will be more dates to come. The tour will be supporting three charities: Choose Love who provides emergency aid and life-changing support directly to displaced communities, LIVE Trust who protects, expands and supports the grassroots music ecosystem across the UK, and HeadCount who registers concert-goers to vote in the U.S.

Here’s how the tour will support these organizations:

  • GLOBAL: Together, Together will support Choose Love, with whom Harry has partnered for a decade. Choose Love is a responsive humanitarian organization delivering critical aid to those who need it most by working directly with communities. Harry’s support has provided essential services such as food, shelter and education for people all over the world. This year, Choose Love and Together, Together will continue that work.
  • LONDON: £1 from every ticket sold on the tour will be donated by Harry Styles to LIVE Trust, protecting, expanding and supporting grassroots music in the UK.
  • NEW YORK: Styles will continue his partnership with HeadCount throughout Together, Together. In New York, eligible fans attending any residency date can register to vote onsite at HeadCount’s pop-up activation.

In addition to supporting these charities, Harry Styles is joining forces with Live Nation’s Green Nation to engage with venues and tour partners on opportunities to reduce the tour’s environmental impact.

It’s been a wildly exciting week for Harry fans around the globe, and this new era is only getting started.
