Charlotte Sands Releases “one eye open” and Announces Upcoming Album “Satellite”

Alt-pop it girl Charlotte Sands has officially announced her upcoming album, Satellite, to be released on March 6th, 2026. Along with the announcement of Satellite, Charlotte released her latest single “one eye open” following a run of standout tracks including “HUSH”, “Afterlife”, and “neckdeep”, giving us even more of a glimpse into the bold, high-energy world of the album.

one eye open” opens with a burst of bright, slightly gritty guitars before slipping into wispy, dream-laden vocals that float above the mix. As the song unfolds, layers of drums and guitars surge forward, pushing the song at times to pop-punk intensity. In the chorus, Charlotte’s vocals swell with power, mirroring the emotional clarity at the song’s core.

Charlotte explains that “’one eye open’ is about is about learning that love isn’t supposed to feel like survival, (…) [it’s] about taking your power back and choosing your own peace over their chaos.” As she sings “I sleep with one eye open / I hear your heavy breathing through the door” and “You keep me uneasy / Just leave me alone”, the song’s message lands with clarity.

Charlotte performed “one eye openlast month at the Vans Warped Tour in Orlando, leaving fans wanting more and eagerly awaiting the single’s studio release. Online, fans have been sharing their excitement and begging for its official release saying they “need the song now” after hearing it live, while others have commented on its resemblance to Evanescence.

The track will appear on the forthcoming album, Satellite, which Charlotte describes as “a collection of moments from the last two years of my life, the highs and lows, the joy and the grief. It’s about drifting, discovering, questioning your purpose, and learning to trust the quiet pull that brings you back to yourself.”
