April 17 2026 – New York City
A crowd of friends and new listeners filled Pianos on a Friday evening in April to experience Every Us’ new EP, Some Kind of We. The group, consisting of seven members, held the anticipatory energy of the room before unleashing a full sound which brought the crowd into the world of Some Kind of We. Every Us creates a sonic environment that seems to be born from a version of utopia. In this world warmth and connection are what drives us forward.
The collective, led by singer-songwriter Ryan Jones, is based on a kinship of like-minded musicians creating art together. This unity is what influences the overall direction of Some Kind of We into its lush, upbeat and sunlight drenched execution.
With the group’s seven members, Every Us achieves a remarkably clear and full sound. Pianos’ engineers have created a wonderful mix, balancing all instruments and vocalists well, and allowing Every Us to be their full self on stage. Pianos has a storied history, having held performances from SZA, Tame Impala, and Passion Pit.
With nothing holding them back, Every Us captivated the crowd entirely. In between songs from the new EP, Ryan waxed poetic about why making music as a group is one of the most ancient practices humanity exercises. He elaborated that music is best when it’s played together, and the flow state Every Us reaches during performance was the perfect example.
