July 1, 2026 – Toronto, Ontario
This past Wednesday, Toronto rang in Canada Day with the iconic Canadian DJ duo Loud Luxury. The sold-out RBC Ampitheater was buzzing with electricity as fans were decked out in red, white, and the pair’s exclusive Canada Day merch.
The show started with a montage of past interviews where the two, Andrew Fedyk and Joe De Pace, consistently referenced Canada alongside home videos that grounded everyone in the venue in expectations of a true celebration of their Canadian roots. Whether it was bringing out Canadian powerhouse Sadboi to perform their collaboration on the 2026 hit “OUT LATE,” or referencing the viral sensation Canadian TV show Heated Rivalry, the energy and hype for Canadian pop culture was woven throughout their entire set.
The set felt like an homage, not only to Canada through remixes featuring Drake’s “Road Trips” and Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat”, but to their start back at Western University in London, Ontario. The crowd was treated to iconic songs from that 2010 era like “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz and surprise guest performances from Anders on 2018’s hit “Love No More,” and Bryce Vine featured on 2019’s “I’m Not Alright”. The Juno Award-winning group’s sound has evolved through genres of house and hints of melodic techno as they continue to experiment as producers, and their entire discography was on display this past Canada Day. Their performance featured their biggest hit “Body” and their most recent track “COLORADO”.
Loud Luxury came to celebrate and throw down on the decks. The evening carried high-energy hits, nostalgic throwback tracks, and unique guest performances that kept everyone dancing all evening. This was the ultimate Canada Day celebration, and Toronto definitely got treated to an iconic show.
