Here are our picks for June 5th, 2026:

DEADMEAT – South Arcade

About to embark on a massive summer of festivals, shows, and more music, Rising UK Band South Arcade are back with their latest single, “DEADMEAT.”  On the new single, the band said: “We went into writing wanting to tell a sort of modern Romeo and Juliet story (but with a less depressing ending), and we left with DEADMEAT. It has this reckless optimism about it where the two characters’ worlds shouldn’t really overlap but they’ve found each other regardless – they want to escape all of that noise, steal a car and leave town. It had this ‘us against the world’ energy that we loved.” Listen HERE.

See Me – Maddie Regent

Indie-pop singer and songwriter Maddie Regent ushers in a bold new era with her new single, “See Me.” Blending ambient production, intimate lyricism, and sweeping melodies, “See Me” explores the strange vulnerability of being fully known by someone else. Written alongside her creative partner and fiancé, producer and songwriter Cade Hoppe, the track balances melodrama and honesty with effortless precision. Maddie shares, “‘See Me’ is about how the last piece of yourself to show someone is the side that gets cold feet and leaves them at the train station with your bag. Now suddenly this stranger knows you better than anyone else, and I don’t think there’s anything more romantic than that.Listen HERE.

suave – AKRILLA, Jane Remover

Rising Chilean singer, songwriter, and rap sensation AKRIILA has joined forces with acclaimed digicore star Jane Remover for their new single, “suave.” Commemorating AKRIILA’s signing with Atlantic Records, the track sees the two groundbreaking artists coming together for a bilingual alt-pop club hit that merges an array of influences through a haze of warped synths, intimate vocals, and indie-hyperpop textures.
